Become a better musician – solo and in a band. You do studio recordings, live shows, sound and lights. The study trips go to London and Budapest.
We place great emphasis on the development of your instrumental and vocal skills through a lot of interaction. We play both covers and self-made music in different band compositions or vocal groups. You work a lot in the school's recording studio both with programming and as a musician and technician. You will learn about the production of music videos in both theory and practice. You will also learn elementary music theory that is useful for all musicians.

What do you learn at Elverum Folk High School?
The purpose of folk high school is "education", or personal development. Throughout the school year, you get to challenge yourself, collaborate with others and actively participate in the community.
Education is about mastering things like laundry, cooking, cleaning and your own finances. It's about taking part in democracy, culture and sport.
