Experience unique encounters with people, culture, and wildlife. Join creative fundraising and help create vital development in education, farming, tourism, and sports in Africa.
“To understand poverty, you must understand wealth.”
On the Africa Line, you’ll experience a warm and inclusive culture through study trips, lectures, films, and discussions. You’ll cook African food, learn Swahili, and reflect on our own society and consumption. What can we learn from each other?
100% Aid
All money raised goes directly to our projects. You’ll learn about fair use of resources and help decide how the funds are spent, then see the results during the study trips.
Projects
We visit and support elderly people, help young refugees integrate, organize activities for local children, and raise money through creative events like aid marathons, bottle drives, and alternative Christmas gifts.
Study Trips
In Uganda, you’ll help improve education for orphaned and poor children in Kasese and Bwera, visit slums, and photograph elephants, lions, and hippos on safari. In Kenya, you’ll visit the island of Lamu, where donkeys replace cars, sail in local “dhows,” fish, and experience a calm “hakuna matata” lifestyle in a Muslim community.
