Would you like to feel the rush and flow of floating downhill in bottomless powder, surfing the waves of Stadt, climbing up cliffs along the Sognefjord or biking down narrow trails from summits?
Fall offers a variety of exciting activities in Sogndal. We'll be climbing both outdoors at the local climbing crags at Kvam and indoors on one of the countrys best walls. We can try a "via ferrata" in Hemsedal or Loen, and we will be going to Stadt to surf the waves of legendary Hoddevika. Also, we have some of the best mountain/trail biking trails in Norway close by.
Through basic and more advanced technique-courses, you will learn to bike at speed with control in varied terrain. You will also learn how to construct trails -and get the pulse of the biking community here in Sogndal The school has its own bike workshop where you can tune or repair stuff, and learn about basic bike maintenance.
You do not need to be an expert biker, the course is suited to students at different levels.
Winter means skiing! You will get to know one of the most exciting ski areas in Norway. We will focus on safety and avalanche awareness so we can acces the best lines at any given time in a safe and responsible manner.
Spring makes the choice a little more challenging: bike on Kaupangers forest trails, or ski on sunny slopes with a vista of the Sognefjord? Your choice!
