The trip goes south from Mexico City, and you get to see and experience the diversity in costumes, customs, art and culture. You get an insight into the country's history, for example through the encounter with Diego Rivera's world-famous murals, and you get a closer look at the challenges that various indigenous communities face in our time. You get to participate in old rituals such as Temazcal (sweat hut), you get to climb some of Mexico's many pyramids and swim in crystal clear waterfalls.

Experience the magic and atmosphere of the sunset on the Pacific coast. We go out with local fishermen, look for whales, dolphins and sea turtles. In the mangrove landscape, you get close contact with crocodiles, birdlife and iguanas. Imagine waking up to the lapping of waves in the hammock in the bamboo hut!

When we have traveled around Mexico for a couple of weeks, the journey continues to Cuba. Cuba and Mexico are different in terms of politics, religion, culture and racial mix/people. You will get many different impressions and it is magical to experience the contrasts. We live with Cuban families, in Casas Particulares. A unique opportunity to speak Spanish, get to know people and experience everyday life up close. See with your own eyes how the special political situation in Cuba over the past 50 years has left its mark on the people and the island. Get an insight into Havana's history and see how real cigars are made.
