    Kunst & Kreativitet

    Gjennom året på Neon: Art & Design får du utforske et bredt spekter av kunstformer og uttrykk. Du lærer teknikker innen blant annet tegning og maling, og får rom til å utvikle din egen stil. Vi jobber både med klassiske, analoge metoder og digitale verktøy, inspirert av alt fra tradisjonell kunst og illustrasjon til japansk estetikk – både moderne og historisk.

    Underveis prøver du deg på ulike materialer og uttrykksformer, og du får mulighet til å stille ut egne verk på linjeutstilling. Vi legger også til rette for prosjekter basert på elevenes egne ideer og ønsker, slik at du kan forme året etter dine interesser og ambisjoner.

    Japan – the highlight of the year!

    In the spring semester we travel to Japan—a meeting of both tradition and futurism!

    • Tokyo – modern art, manga/anime, design, and futuristic architecture

    • Kyoto – traditional art, temples, calligraphy, and Japanese aesthetics

    • teamLab Planets – like stepping into another world

    • Sketching and photography – in beautiful surroundings

    • Food and culinary experiences – sushi, ramen, tea ceremonies, and street food

    Community and cultural encounters—experiences you’ll never forget.

    The study trip to Japan takes you to two of the country’s most inspiring cities: Tokyo and Kyoto.

    In Tokyo you’ll encounter futuristic architecture, modern art, manga and anime culture, and a vibrant city life. You’ll experience everything from art museums and galleries to unique shops and urban environments that fuel your creativity.

    In Kyoto we explore traditional Japanese aesthetics with temples, calligraphy, and classical art forms. We sketch and photograph in beautiful parks, at museums, and out in the cityscape—drawing inspiration from historic buildings, street art, and everyday life in Japan.

    On the journey, you’ll draw, paint, and capture impressions through your camera—while also discovering the food culture, meeting locals, and sharing memories within a tight-knit community.

     
     

    Da vi har spennende utenlandsturer på begge linjene du som elev går på, har vi valgt å legge fellesturene til vakre og spennende omgivelser i Norge. Vi arrangerer blant annet en super tur til Preikestolen utenfor Stavanger.

    Foruten flere fellesturer setter vi også av tid til fellesarrangementer som:

    • konserter
    • kinoforestillinger
    • seminar
    • foredrag

    Alle elevene ved Karmøy Folkehøgskole deltar på minst 2 utenlandsturer gjennom sine 2 linjer. Enkelte elever deltar på opptil 4 utlandsturer avhengig av hvilke linjer de har valgt. Derfor har vi lagt opp til en felles skoletur til Preikestolen og Stavanger. Skolen ønsker også at våre elever får delta på lokale kulturelle arrangement i skolens nærmiljø, dvs på Haugalandet. Dette er for eksempel spennende konserter, kinoforestillinger, teater og byvandring.

    • Outdoor-activity Sea (Friluftsliv Sjø in Norwegian) including a trip to Croatia with diving classes and island hopping with 2 sailboats
    • Experience Africa including a trip to Tanzania
    • Experience South America including a trip to Brazil & Argentina
    • Bakery & Pastry (Baker & Konditor in Norwegian) including a trip to Paris and Brussel
    • Football Europe Inkluding a trip to Brasil & Argentina
    • Fashion Clothes Design/Redesign including a trip to London and Paris
    • Resit a subject/exam

    Programs choose 2:

    • Multisport including a trip to Europe
    • Focus Japan including a trip to Tokyo & Kyoto in Japan
    • Action Adventure X including a trip to Bali, Indonesia
    • Global Kitchen including a trip to Tokyo & Kyoto in Japan

    • Norwegian Language & Living - discover the beauty of Western Norway and interrail Europe
    • Golf Global including a trip to Australia
    • Focus Europe including an interrail in Europe and a trip to Croatia including island hopping in the Adriatic
