Study Trip – Interrail & Island Hopping in Europe

At Fokus Europa, we don’t just travel far – we travel smart, meaningfully and together. The study trip is divided into two parts: a shorter fall trip and a longer spring adventure.

Fall Trip: Eastern Europe by Train

We kick off the year with a journey to Budapest, Vienna and Prague, two of Europe’s most beautiful and fascinating cities.

Spring Trip: Interrail & Island Hopping

In spring, we go on a longer interrail trip – planned together with the students. The route includes island hopping wherever it fits best.

Past destinations: Greece, Italy, Turkey, Romania and more
Travel planning, budgeting and safety
Visit to a charity project we’ve worked on during the year
History, politics and local culture
Meet people and gain new perspectives
We travel as sustainably as possible, learn as we go, and return home with unforgettable memories.

Two journeys – one European adventure.

Da vi har spennende utenlandsturer på begge linjene du som elev går på, har vi valgt å legge fellesturene til vakre og spennende omgivelser i Norge. Vi arrangerer blant annet en super tur til Preikestolen utenfor Stavanger.

Foruten flere fellesturer setter vi også av tid til fellesarrangementer som:

Alle elevene ved Karmøy Folkehøgskole deltar på minst 2 utenlandsturer gjennom sine 2 linjer. Enkelte elever deltar på opptil 4 utlandsturer avhengig av hvilke linjer de har valgt. Derfor har vi lagt opp til en felles skoletur til Preikestolen og Stavanger. Skolen ønsker også at våre elever får delta på lokale kulturelle arrangement i skolens nærmiljø, dvs på Haugalandet. Dette er for eksempel spennende konserter, kinoforestillinger, teater og byvandring.

Experience Africa including a trip to Tanzania
Experience South America including a trip to Brazil & Argentina
Bakery & Pastry (Baker & Konditor in Norwegian) including a trip to Paris and Brussel
Football Europe Inkluding a trip to Brasil & Argentina
Fashion Clothes Design/Redesign including a trip to London and Paris
Resit a subject/exam
