We’re setting off for Rio de Janeiro and Buenos Aires – two of the world’s most vibrant cities, where football isn’t just a sport, but a way of life. Here, you’ll experience true passion up close, combined with culture, nature, and adventure.

Brazil – Rio de Janeiro

In Rio, we’ll play beach football on Copacabana, soak up the atmosphere at Ipanema, and explore a city that truly breathes football. We’ll visit iconic landmarks like the Christ the Redeemer statue, discover colorful street art, and stroll through local markets that capture the real spirit of Rio.

Argentina – Buenos Aires

Buenos Aires is a city where football means emotion. In neighborhoods like La Boca, you’ll find colorful streets, lively markets, and a culture overflowing with passion. We’ll taste authentic Argentine food, experience the home of tango, and feel the pulse of a city where football is part of every conversation.

More Than Just Football

This trip offers a unique combination of sport, travel, and culture. Of course, we’ll try to catch a match or two along the way – to experience the electric atmosphere in the stands. You’ll play, explore, and share unforgettable moments with your classmates, discovering how football connects people across languages and borders.

Da vi har spennende utenlandsturer på begge linjene du som elev går på, har vi valgt å legge fellesturene til vakre og spennende omgivelser i Norge. Vi arrangerer blant annet en super tur til Preikestolen utenfor Stavanger.

Foruten flere fellesturer setter vi også av tid til fellesarrangementer som:

• konserter
• kinoforestillinger
• seminar
• foredrag 

Alle elevene ved Karmøy Folkehøgskole deltar på minst 2 utenlandsturer gjennom sine 2 linjer. Enkelte elever deltar på opptil 4 utlandsturer avhengig av hvilke linjer de har valgt. Derfor har vi lagt opp til en felles skoletur til Preikestolen og Stavanger. Skolen ønsker også at våre elever får delta på lokale kulturelle arrangement i skolens nærmiljø, dvs på Haugalandet. Dette er for eksempel spennende konserter, kinoforestillinger, teater og byvandring.
