Would you like to spend a year focused on running, training, and personal development?
Norway’s only running course gives you the opportunity to dive deep into everything about running!
Do you feel most comfortable with your running shoes on? Do you dream of running 10K, marathons, ultramarathons – or simply want to improve as a runner in a unique community? Then RUN – Ultramarathon & Strength is the program for you!
Together with your teacher, you will create a training plan tailored for you and your goals. You will work on endurance, strength, technique, and recovery – and learn how to train smart, avoid injuries, and gradually build yourself up both physically and mentally. We cheer each other on and create a strong sense of community together.
Throughout the year, we participate in races such as Muruvik Backyard and Trondheim Marathon. In addition, we go on an amazing running trip to Portugal with Springtime in October – a trip full of sun, beaches, trails, and running! We will also host inspiring guest speakers and athletes.
You will have access to the school’s gym, outdoor tracks, trails, and indoor halls, and the opportunity to train with Buvik Running Club. We visit Olympiatoppen Granåsen for VO2max testing, and learn about injury prevention and first aid. At the school, we also have lactate meters, so you can track your progress and plan training sessions that suit you perfectly.
RUN is more than just running – it’s a year to grow, gain confidence, and find the motivation to set new goals. You don’t need to be in top shape to start, but you do need the desire to improve – and be open to learning. Are you ready to challenge yourself?
