Beach and Volleyball

Become an even better volleyball player! You will have trainings every day with professional coaches and focus on technical and tactical skills. Main focus on indoor volleyball.

In the oudtoor season and on our study excursion to Costa Blanca, Spain, we are focused on beach vollyball. 

If your level is high we cooperate whith the local top division indoor volleyball club Førde Volleyballklubb. They will decide if you will be allowed to join their team progam. These students will be partly integrated in our school program.

Bli med til fantastiske Brasil og Rio de Janeiro! I mars reiser saman med linjene Volleyball og Beach & Volleyball til vakre og spennande Rio de Janeiro i 2 veker. Her skal du få trene beachvolleyball, beach tennis og styrketrening på Copacabana. Det blir innhaldsrike dagar i eit varmt og behageleg klima.

Vi har gode kontaktra i Rio som vi har jobba med i mange år som bidreg til å lage ein god, trygg og lærerik studietur.

Når man snakker om Rio de Janeiro er det få ord som beskriv byen betre enn “byen med kontrastar”. Her er det skyhøge bygningar og enorme favelaer. Rik og fattig lev side om side, men samtidig adskilt. Dei fleste menneska du kjem til å møte er hyggelige, varme og nysgjerrige på kven du er og kvar du kjem frå. I løpet av turen til Rio vil du få møte folk fra alle samfunnslag og få sjå korleis dei ulike menneska lev. 

Lokale severdigheter som Sukkertoppen, Kristustatuen og Favela skal også opplevast. Solnedgangen fra Sukkertoppen er heilt unik. Vi skal på fotballkamp på Maracana som er verdens største fotballstadion, her har VM og OL finaler blitt spelt. Sjølv om du kanskje ikkje er veldig interessert i fotball. Så må alle oppleve atmosfæren på ein fotballkamp i Brasil.
Det er eit minne for livet!

Spania - Benidom

I mars pakkar vi baggen og reiser til Benidorm (Spania) på treningsleir. Vi har eit tett samarbeid med Move Your Association (mya.no) som gir oss tilgang til dei beste idrettsanlegga i området. På treningsleiren kombinerar vi volleyball med noko beachvolleyball. I Benidorm spelar vi treningskampar mot lokale klubbar. Du skal også få lære av og bli godt kjend med den dyktige trenaren Raul Mesa. 

 

Som elev på linjene Volleyball og Beach & Volleyball har ein høve til å velje tur til Rio De Janeiro i Brasil istadenfor Spania. Dette vil medføre ein ekstrakostnad på kr 15.000,-.

The school is a Christian boarding school where friendship, mutual respect and understanding are important parts of our educational program. The school is open for students from all beliefs and religions.

The school is connected to a Norwegian lutheran missionary organisation (Normisjon) and our educational program is based on Christian principles.

The school situated 2 km from Førde, a town of about 12 000 inhabitants.

The dormitory includes 18 single rooms and 36 double rooms for a total of 110 students. We have seven dorm units, each with its own livingroom and a small kitchen. The dormes have mixed genders but there is always one gender in each room. Some of the rooms have a private bathroom at increased cost, some rooms have shared bathrooms with separat lockers.

The school is open to everyone whether your background is secondary school, grammar school, high school or experience from work. Most students are 19 years old and age limit is 18 years. Exceptionally we can take younger students.
