Do you want to learn everything you need to make a film? Are you interested in acting in films? Do you find the most excitement behind or in front of the camera? Learn the entire film making process.

Right here in Stavanger, a new wave of film emerged that forever changed Norwegian cinema. You'll have the opportunity to work with and learn from the people, the environment, and the force behind this wave, guided by experienced instructors who have worked both in front of and behind the camera.

At StUF we aim to expand your understanding of film and how you can best tell the story you most desire. Our approach to this course is to start with who you are and what knowledge you already possess, shaping your path forward accordingly.

Our teaching method revolves around conversations between students and teachers, rather than the conventional format of the teacher giving lectures while students take notes.

In an ongoing and dynamic interplay between the editing room and individual scenes, you'll witness how subtle nuances can alter and influence the scenes being performed and filmed, taking you where you want to go.

We also collaborate with film production companies that have created feature films, documentaries, and commercials.

We'll work together to discover which aspects of filmmaking resonate with you the most, whether it's in front of or behind the camera.

Velkommen til en reise du ikke kan få noen andre steder enn på StUF! På en urban og grønn folkehøyskole blir dette et eventyr på skinner og en reise for minnebøkene. StUF vil reise ut for å fange sterke inntrykk og etterlate lave klimaavtrykk.

Her blir det møter med mennesker og inspirerende initiativer utenfor turiststrømmen. Du skal få oppleve gatefester og grønne stunt, spise sunt og besøke konserter. Du kan få være med på urban exploration (UrbEx) i forlatte soner og knytte bånd til interesante miljøer. På turen vil du få delta i grønne prosjekter i spennende byer.

Når du reiser får du muligheter til å forme og danne din personlighet gjennom impulser fra andre land og byer. Når du reiser sakte, får du observere endringer og oppleve mer. Da får vi tid til å bli oppdagere og finne steder og rom å utforske.

Med StUFs sakte reisemåter, eventyrlige steder og meningsfulle oppdrag får du være med på en helt unik oppdagelse- og dannelsesreise. Dette er en måte du kan bevege deg på, og samtidig bli beveget av det du møter.
