Do you want to learn with your hands, create something completely new from your own ideas? In this program, you will receive a unique introduction to construction and design, with no prior knowledge.
At school you can "use your hand" at everything from carpentry, woodworking, and tool usage to welding, concrete casting, and fiberglass, as well as basic electrical and plumbing work.
You will gain insight into the entire process – from the first sketches on paper to digital drawings and practical prototypes.
We look at the design process, learn to use software for simple 3D models, and get familiar with how a construction idea turns into concrete solutions.
The focus throughout the year is on eco-friendly and smart methods, health and safety, and sustainability. We look at economic and resource-conscious choices, and we collaborate with the local community on small projects.
As important as the subjects are the sense of community within the group. You become part of a team where everyone contributes, learns from each other, and experiences achievement together. Small and large projects provide both challenges and good experiences – and you will discover how fun it is to create something together with others.
Here you will gain both experiences, practical skills, and knowledge you can take with you – whether you want to become a craftsman, designer, engineer, or simply learn something new.
