Delve into the world of 3D and sculpture combining traditional handcraft and new methods of 3D printing. Design form and see your ideas take shape. Here you work both digitally and with your hands.

Are you interested in working both digitally and with traditional crafting techniques? On the 3D & Sculpture course, you get to work both with your hands and digitally on a computer. This can involve working with raw materials such as clay and wood, or designing objects on the computer that can then be 3D printed. Here you get to develop your skills in both artistic sculptures and practical objects.

Digital 3D modeling will help you visualize concepts before you create something physical. The objects you create digitally can be printed using a 3D printer or ceramic printer. You will also get to try several different handcraft techniques and work with materials such as clay, wood, metal and polymer clay.

The curriculum centres on the creative performing arts contexted with the personal growth and development of the student. Sunnhordland folk high school is beautifully situated by the sea at the West Coast of Norway and has good facilities for the various art subjects.

We accommodate English speakers in our teaching. All foreigners will also get the offer of a short and intensive course in Norwegian language for about 2-4 lessons a week.
