Surfing in Fuertaventura

Join us for a week of surfing and tons of activities in Fuerteventura. During the day we surf, and in our free time we enjoy a variety of activities such as tennis, beach volleyball, swimming, and yoga.

Hide and seek
Inspired by the game show, we use the school buildings and outdoor areas for hide-and-seek, ‘give a little hint’, chain tag, and other fun games.
Hobby corner
Creative? YHer you can enjoy making things with your hands and letting your imagination run free. You can create items for yourself or make gifts for others.
Kickboxing
Learn some martial arts in a fun and informal way. The course helps you develop strength, endurance, and flexibility. Here you get to try a bit of everything!
Climbing and belay certification
Here you get to try the school’s climbing wall, and you will learn belaying and technique. Later in the year, you will have the opportunity to take the belay certification test.
Knife making
Here you get the opportunity to make your very own unique knife and sheath. A practical knife you can enjoy in outdoor life for the rest of your life. You’ll develop your sense of form and create smooth lines and design.
Racket sports
In this course we focus on learning basic technique and tactics, and we set aside plenty of time for playing. The course is structured into three modules: game understanding, technique, and tactics.
Whittling
Here you will learn how to shape wood using a knife. You can make different figures and utensils, such as a cup or cutlery.
Strength and Cardio
Here you’ll get a training program to improve both strength and endurance, with good guidance and follow-up from the teacher.
Strength training for girls
We offer a dedicated strength training program specifically for girls.
Volleyball
You will learn a lot about game understanding and basic technique.
Yoga
This is an elective where you can come just as you are, and it doesn’t matter whether you’ve done yoga before or not. The lessons are designed so everyone can do the exercises at their own pace.
Soccer XL
Here we practice techniques so that by the end of the session we can play proper, structured games!
GOLF XL
You will take the 'Path to Golf' course with a golf pro at Larvik Golf Club. You will learn techniques and precision from driving to putting
Crafts XL
This course is for you if you are creative, inventive, and enjoy working with your hands. Here you will learn how to use tools, and we work with wood, metal, and leather. We create everything from practical items to decorative pieces.
Multi sports XL
A varied activity elective with ball sports, racket sports, training, and excursions.
Spotlight XL
Spotlight is for those who enjoy being on stage. Here we dive into entertaining productions in dance and musical theatre.
Water sports XL
An elective for those who love the water! We try different water sports like kayaking, SUP, and swimming. You’ll challenge yourself, learn new skills, and have fun out on the water.
Perspective
In the second elective period, students can choose from a variety of subjects where topics such as dilemma training, solidarity, democracy, environment, and sustainability are in focus.
The Christian folk high schools are built on Christian values. They are owned by, or associated with, Christian organizations or denominations. They encourage students with different interests and beliefs to apply.
