Park & Pudder er linja for deg som har sansen for kroppskontroll og nye triks på hopp og rails - til alle årstider. Du trenger ikke være ekspert for å søke plass. Her kan du utvikle deg gjennom morsomme opplevelser, mestring og fellesskap. Det aller viktigste er at du liker ski og brett og har lyst til å lære mer. I løpet av året vil du leke deg i parkene og pumpe pudder utenfor løypene. Du får opplæring innen off-pistekjøring, og det blir snøskredkurs.

Hallingdal Folkehøgskule ligger midt i et snøsikkert eldorado. Du bor bare 400 meter unna Golbakken, og har Hemsedal skisenter, Geilo skisenter, Svarteberg i Ål, Hallingskarvet Skisenter og Nesbyen alpinsenter i umiddelbar nærhet. I tillegg har vi en egen railpark med snøkanon i bakgården som du kan boltre deg i når som helst. Skolen ligger i gangavstand til Gol idrettsarena med turn, trampolinehopp og annen grunntrening.

På tumleplassen utenfor skolen kan du holde koken på rails både sommer og vinter. Vi har en egen snøkanon og kan lage snø lenge før jul. Med både skaterampe og trampoline er det nok å finne på utover ettermiddagen.

Mot slutten av skoleåret reiser elever og ansatte sammen til Gardasjøen i Italia. Her blir det tid til bading, utflukter og aktiviteter på tvers av linjene.

Aktuelle valg kan være klatring, via ferrata, stisykling, Gardaland eller en tur til en av byene i området. Turen inngår i skoleåret. Se prisoversikten for hva som er inkludert og hva du må betale selv.

Duration: 6-7 overnattinger

Towards the end of the school year, students and staff travel together to Lake Garda in Italy. We stay near Peschiera del Garda and spend a few days enjoying activities, swimming and time together across the different study programmes.

During the trip, students can choose from activities such as climbing, via ferrata, mountain biking, Gardaland or a visit to one of the nearby towns. There is also time to swim, enjoy Italian food and relax together before the school year comes to an end.

The trip is a lovely way to finish the year and gives students from different study programmes an opportunity to get to know each other even better.

Motocross

Price: 1 810,-

Learn basic riding techniques, safety and motorcycle control. We practise balance, changing gears, braking, cornering and riding on a track. The lessons are adapted to your experience.

Green Living

In Green Living you’ll learn about gardening, recycling and sustainable habits in everyday life. We plant, compost and find simple ways to live closer to nature – together, outdoors and hands-on.

Stress management

We explore what stress is and try simple breathing, relaxation and movement exercises. You can test different methods and find what may work for you in everyday life.

Join a game in the gym, read a good book in the library, sing in the school choir, or take part in our fun electives on Fridays and Mondays.
Get inspired by guest speakers at Saturday seminars, express yourself creatively on program evenings, cook together in our kitchen or relax in the cozy common room after a long day in the mountains.

  • Golf & Ski: Two seasons, one red thread. Golf in the sun and skiing in deep powder.

  • Yoga, Ski & Surf: Movement, mindfulness and mountain air.

  • Motocross – Enduro & Speed: Adrenaline, teamwork and dirt under your nails.

  • Friluftsliv – Outdoor Life Pyreneene: Hiking, skiing, camping and outdoor living – explore Norway and Europe from valley to peak.

  • Dyrepass – Animal Care: Learn about animal behavior, routines and care through daily work with animals. Experience teamwork, responsibility and joy in the company of four-legged friends.

All students also take part in shared subjects that build friendship, reflection and practical skills.

Note: We offer Practical Norwegian classes for foreign students during the first term, voluntary and free of charge.
