Wellness:

We visit institutions that provide services in health care and wellness.

You will meet different occupational groups in the health sector who will tell you the about their professions: Blue Cross, Cancer Society, Red Cross, Volunteer centers, Spa center, fitness center, yoga center, kindergardens, nursing homes and hospitals

Pleasure and leisure:
We spend a lot of time outside, on boat trips, sailing, kayaking and on other trips in the area around the school. We catch crabs, fish and learn a lot about the nature.

NOK 129.700,-

How many hours per week?
Normal week: 2 days for this course. The rest of the week is for main courses for all students as well as some selected courses.

Thailand - Phuket og Bangkok

En av elevene som var med på linjetur i år sa: «Jeg bare må tilbake til Thailand! Jeg elsker øya Phuket, det er så mye spennende å finne på. Maten er fantastisk, strendene ligger som perler på en snor». Ja, bli med oss på en fantastisk linjetur!

Den første delen av turen går til øya Phuket. Her vil du oppleve:

  • Båttur til eksotiske øyer med bading og snorkling
  • Tempelbesøk og besøk til Big Buddha
  • Nyt et fantastisk strandliv
  • Besøk på yrende nattmarkeder og byen Patong
  • Mulighet for massasje både på standen og der vi bor
  • Besøk av en kokk som lager fantastisk Thaimat
  • Å tilbringe en morgen eller ettermiddag på Phuket Elephant Care-reservatet. Du får være med å forberede frukt til elefantene og mate dem før du skrubber huden, skyller av gjørmen og bader med elefantene
  • Vi bor meget bra med eget basseng

I Bangkok får du mulighet til  å:

  • Besøke vakre templer
  • Oppleve storbyen Bangkok 
  • Besøke prosjekter i  slummen
  • Besøke verdens største utendørs marked:  Chatuchak marked
  • Besøke Lupinparken hvor du kan se øgler og skilpadder
  • Gå på nattmarkeder
  • Vi vil også gjennom hele turen lære om menneskehandel og prostitusjon i dette landet

Eleven betaler selv for nødvendige vaksiner og visum med tanke på reisemål. Du har selv ansvar for å ta nødvendige vaksiner i god tid før linjeturen. Dette kan gjøres på vaksinekontor eller hos fastlege. Ved å oppgi Thailand som reisemål vil du få beskjed om hvilke vaksiner du må ha

Krakow - Polen

I Krakow får du en blanding av kultur, shopping, vakker natur, god mat , gatemusikanter og et yrende studentliv. Dette er en storby som er verdt et besøk! 

Det er flere grunner til at Krakow kalles for magisk. Besøkt av millioner av turister og kåret til et av verdens vakreste storbyer. Du blir overveldet av kulturen og historien som finnes i hver eneste bygning og gate. Arkitekturen har en harmoni over seg når du spaserer rundt gamlebyen. Du får en følelse av at fortiden møter nåtiden. Du får bl.a. se:

  • Markedsplassen som er den eldste middelalderplassen i hele Europa, menes også å være en av de vakreste

  • Mariakirken

  • Saltgruvene

  • Du får rikelig tid til å vandre rundt selv i denne vakre byen

  • Vi vil møte studenter som kan fortelle hvordan det er å studere i Krakow

Beitostølen - praksis periode

Duration: 14 dager

På helselinjen får du mulighet til å ha 14 dagers praksis på Beitostølen helsesportsenter i vakre Valdres. Her jobber du med både barn, ungdom og voksne.

Dette får du oppleve

  • I begynnelsen av desember drar vi på en 14 dagers praksis midt i omgivelsene av det vakreste julekort. På Beitostølen helsesportsenter får du erfare helsetilbud på et senter med utallige tilbud som:

    • Bassengaktivitet

    • Klatring

    • Salaktivitet

    • Apparattrening

    • Ridning

    • Langrenn

    • Tur

    • Friluft og mye mer.

 

  • Masse sosial aktivitet på fritiden i de vakreste omgivelser.

To ganger i løpet av året drar vi på tur sammen, hele skolen. Disse turene er inkludert i prisen

Den store fellesturen vår går til Italia og den andre er en flott tur ut i havgapet til et skjærgårdsparadis som heter Havglimt, på en øy utenfor Kristiansand.

I tillegg til disse flotte fellesturene får du også 2-3 uker i løpet av skoleåret mulighet for å velge mellom mange ulike turopplegg i våre valgfaguker

Focus on having fun together on a trip with the whole school and great opportunities to do lots of fun activities.

Skjærgårdstur

Mandatory: Yes

Price: Included in course price

Duration: 3 dager

Island trip in Kristiansand

We take the whole school on a trip to the skerries outside Kristiansand, preferably when the sun is shining and we have summer weather in Kristiansand. Together we make good food and try out different activities that can be done in connection with the sea, beach and skerries. Those who want it, bring a hammock and maybe get the chance to catch the sunrise.

Examples of activities we do are:

  • Sailing
  • Sand volleyball
  • Roundnet
  • Kayaking
  • Snorkeling / diving
  • Boat trips
  • Collection of seafood delicacies
  • Short-distance food on a campfire
  • Island hiking
  • Bouldering
  • Campfires with guitars, song and music
  • Fun competitions
  • Chats until late at night

Weeks of elective trips

Price: Included in course price

Duration: 3 ulike uker

2-3 weeks during the school year we offer different elective trips.

This gives you a fantastic opportunity to also get to know students from other programs.

Elective tours we offer:

  • Surf trip to Jæren
  • Mountain hikes (Preikestolen, Kjeragbolten and Brufjellhålene)
  • Mountain randone
  • Alpine trip to Hemsedal
  • Cabin trips both autumn and winter at Hovden in Setesdal
  • Cross country skiing from cabin to cabin
  • Cruise with our sailing ship Fryden
  • Cycling and hiking on the Hardangervidda
  • Cool trip with cultural experiences to Oslo
  • Home program in Kristiansand with day trips and many different nice programs in the local area
  • Hunting
  • Diving

Some elective trips require an extra fee, but most are included in the tuition fees.

Do you want to explore Norway?


Welcome to Norway and a year where you learn about and explore our beautiful country, our culture and our language.
You will get the chance to visit many famous places and experience Norwegian nature, culture, climate and society. 
We also promise that you will learn a lot about yourself and that you will get friends from all over Norway. 

Kristiansand is a popular town for students with many good facilities for training, activities and outdoor life.
The city offers music, theater and concerts. There is a variety of churches and denominations, several educational institutions like the University of Agder, Media Academy Gimlekollen and Ansgar Theological College.
All the courses at the school will benefit from the many things Kristiansand has to offer.

The school is for 18 years old and up.
You may apply for the next schoolyear from October 1st, and your application will be processed consecutively.
The first part of processing starts February 1st, which may mean that no one will get confirmed before that.

We need information when there are conditions requiring special arrangements.
