    Fellesturer i Norge

Wonderful hike with the whole school

    Mandatory: Yes

    Price: Included in course price

    Duration: 3 dager

    Meals included per day: 4

During the first weeks of school, everyone goes on a “get-to-know-each-other” trip. The purpose is simple: as you can imagine, we want to get to know each other better—both students and staff. It often works best to do this away from school, while sharing experiences together.

We travel to different places not too far from the school, where we set up camp. The trip is designed so that everyone can enjoy it, whether you’re new to hiking or have physical challenges. Those who want to can build a shelter or stay in a cabin, and there’s also the option to sleep in a tent. We go on hike, cook together, sing, play games, have fun—and most importantly, we get to know each other.

It’s simply a wonderful way to start the school year.

For many years, Sund Folk High School has ended the year with a shared trip to the beautiful coast of Trøndelag. Everyone at the school goes together at the very end of the school year. We stay overnight in traditional fishermen’s cabins, go fishing, cook meals over an open fire, and enjoy fun activities in the bright Trøndelag nights. We simply enjoy the surroundings—and each other. It’s a wonderful way to round off the year, for both students and staff.

It’s hard to put into words just how beautiful the Trøndelag coast really is. You simply have to come along and see it for yourself.

Sund is comitted to international solidarity, environment and sustainable development and the value of art and culture. We aim for global understanding and international relationships.
