Several former Solbakken students go straight into professional studies and get film and acting jobs - do you want to be one of them?
A year on the film acting course will give you training as an actor both in front of the camera and on stage. You will gain insight into different directions in film, both in terms of genre, style, and professional functions.
On the course we work with:
- dialogue
- monologue
- movement
- improvisation
- close-up acting in front of the camera
- genre exercises horror, comedy, realism, action, musical film
- rehearsing scenes from famous films
- we watch a lot of films together
We also work on developing characters, both physically and with sensory work. We watch a lot of films and series in different genres and from different countries.
In addition, you will try your hand at scriptwriting and analysis of films and scripts, and you will receive audition training both on stage and in front of the camera.
In addition to the main subjects - in the film acting program, you will have the common subjects: acting technique, dance, choir, voice, yoga and training.
This course is available as both a full-time and half-term course.
Since we are a small school, you will receive close follow-up from our highly qualified teachers who are passionate about helping you in your development.
