Located in scenic Levanger, surrounded by fjords, mountains, and countryside, our school is just a short train ride from Værnes Airport and Trondheim. Here, you’ll live side by side with students who have completely different interests than your own. This creates a warm and inclusive environment where everyone belongs — whether you love being active, exploring nature, gaming, or relaxing around the dinner table.

We combine specialized subjects with traditional folk high school values. It’s not about being the best, but about pushing your own boundaries and achieving personal growth together. Our courses range from high-energy activities like Martial Arts and Hunting & Fishing, to creative expression in N3rd-Culture, and practical life skills in our supported living program.
Real, Local Food — All-Inclusive
We are passionate about clean, wholesome, and nutritious food. We use locally sourced ingredients whenever possible and serve four daily meals to fuel your active days. Everyone gets equal opportunities: once you enroll, all standard course expenses, as well as study trips in Norway and abroad, are fully covered in your tuition fees.
A Close-Knit Community
You’ll live in smaller residence houses with 9 to 18 students, sharing a living room and kitchen. This is where real folk high school life happens — through conversations, board games, cooking together, and everyday moments.
