Courses and lectures in collaboration with the Arctic University of Norway, Campus Harstad, Jobbhuset and others.

The school offers norwegian language classes, with an additional fee of 10 000,-

Alle elevene deltar på felles studietur sammen, til Tromsø og TIFF i januar.

Skoleåret 24/25 tilbyr vi to felles skoleturer utenlands - begge er frivillige å delta på. Les mer om studieturer og ta gjerne kontakt for å vite mer: post@harstadfolkehogskole.no.

Elever som velger å ikke dra på studieturene utenlands, vil ha eget undervisningsopplegg på skolen, og mindre turvirksomhet i nærområdet.

Hvert år besøker 28 millioner mennesker storbyen London, og vi setter sammen en hektisk og intens storbyopplevelse i hjertet av England.

Vi bor enkelt, og bruker penger på sightseeing i flere av Londons fantastiske parker, spennende attraksjoner og opplevelser, markeder og shopping, konserter og teater - og kanskje fotball? Kulturmetropolen London har noe for enhver smak, og fellesskapet vi får ved å reise sammen på tur er unikt!

Reise, overnatting og alt obligatorisk innhold er inkludert i prisen!

In the middle of fjords and mountains, situated right next to the coastal town Harstad, you will find Harstad Folk High School. We have six very diffrerent main subjects, and this variety of young people with different interests, gives diversty in the social environment.

We have distinct special interest groups, and you get the possibility to try them all during a year at our school

The school can receive up to 72 students, which all live on campus and take part in common practical tasks, as well as their main subject. In addition we offer a variety of elective subjects such as volleyball, music, film/video, arts and crafts, swimming,song writing, guitar beginners course.

The coastal town Harstad in the middle of Northern Norway has approximatley 25 000 inhabitants, and is in walking distance from the school.

In the afternoons and in the weekends there are different happenings, seminars and social gatherings, like: pooltournaments, halloweenparty, hikes, bonfires, boardgames-evenings, movie-marathons, visiting historical landmarks, playing football, show-times - where we go to the theatre, the movies.

We also offer Norwegian for beginners as a elective subject, lessons in language and culture - for an additional fee
