Spend an entire year working on cosplay! At Hardanger FHS we put your personal progress first. Learn how to use a variety of relevant materials and tools to make your favorite characters a reality!
In Cosplay we craft costumes from a variety of all types of media. We present our students to both Norwegian cosplayers and international cosplayers and bring in relevant guest teachers for a variety of subjects such as hair, makeup, electronics and more.
We travel to Japan as well, learning about their vibrant culture and visiting locations and venues tailored to cosplay.
As a student you get:
- Student-specific learning for both beginners, intermediate or experienced cosplayers.
- Seam learning based on each students needs and skill level.
- Base knowleage in how to craft with various materials, such as foam, worbla, polymorph, cley, leather, wood and more.
- Makeup, SFX and wigstyling courses.
- Cosplayperformance workshops for those interested in competing.
- Photoshoot with a professional photographer.
- Guest teachers from the Norwegian cosplay community.
- Travel to Japan!
- A creative and social environment.

Our teachers!
Mari Lid is an experienced arts and crafts teacher specialising in fabrics. She teaches sowing and all crafts related to fabrics.
Eivind Mortensen Specialises in woodworking, leather and metal with a masters degree in Arts and crafts. He has been an active cosplayer since 2011 and has contributed as judge, crew, con-presenter and much more.
