Does spending a year in Norway sound tempting? Here is a checklist of how you can become a student at one of the 80 Norwegian folkehøgskole.

📅 Step 1: Before You Apply

Do your research

Tip: Most schools have photo galleries and videos that give you a real feel for student life—don’t skip those!

📤 Step 2: Apply

Admissions open November 15 each year, and schools use rolling admission. That means they accept students until the class is full or school starts.
