An exciting school year that combines gaming-passion with outdoor activities and exercise. Build your own gaming setup, enjoy low ping with the schools fiber network, and focus on a healthy lifestyle.

This is one of our new active programs where you can live out your passion for gaming, but where you are also interested and motivated for other activities. We combine the passion for gaming with exciting outdoor activities, physical activity, sports, and even an unforgettable study trip to Australia.

Become a part of a diverse, versatile, and social environment. Here, you'll have the opportunity to make lifelong friends. You and your class are brought together based on common interests, and together we will experience a lot, putting ourselves to the test both in the digital world and in the real one.

Gaming and E-sports

The meta has changed. Gaming and E-sports have taken the world by storm, and there has been significant growth in the industry in recent years. We cover everything from the history and culture of gaming to competitions. Here, you will have plenty of time for gaming - honing your skills both individually and as a team player.

We focus on the biggest international games like Counter-Strike, Overwatch 2, League of Legends, Apex Legends, Valorant, and Fortnite. We also explore many more! There's room for every gaming enthusiast.

Outdoor Activities, Training, and Activity in Beautiful Nature

We use the scenic nature of Trøndelag as our learning arena to develop skills, teamwork, and communication abilities. Here, you'll have the chance to try various activities such as climbing and rappelling, skiing/snowboarding, and a wide range of outdoor activities.

Studietur til Australia 14 dager.

På vårsemesteret reiser Bakketun ut i verden, og Gaming Bakketun skal til Australia for å få med seg slutten av den herlige australske sommeren! Her kommer vi blant annet til å ri bølger på surfebrettet langs en av verdens vakreste kystlinjer. Vi skal kjenne på spenningen ved juv-vandring i eldgamle elveformasjoner og rappellere ned fossefall opp i mot 30 meter i Blue Mountains.

Du skal få muligheten til å oppleve Sydney, og sammen reiser vi opp kystlinjen til vi når et av planetens mest komplekse økosystemer - the Great Barrier Reef. Her skal vi fridykke og det er mange spennende fisker å se - er du heldig får du øye på en skilpadde eller hai.

Vi skal oppsøke kenguruer og lære om det diverse landskapet og den rike kulturarven Australia har å by på. Dette blir en reise for livet som handler om å lære, vokse, ta et skritt ut av komfortsonen og dra ut på et eventyr du aldri vil glemme.

Spania and Gibraltar - for all students

Our excursions are an impotant part of our year, with three main focus aereas: Culture and country knowledge, relationship and class orientated activities. During the last years we have had an excursion to Southern Europe for the whole school. For the year 2023/2024 we have choosen Spania and Gibraltar for this travel, during week 43/44.

Here we will visit the aerea Andalicia, and have our base close to the city Rota. Here we have different arrangements and activities for all, with posibility for surfing, frisbee-golf, charming bicycle trips and activities from the beachaerea.

We will also visit historical Sevilla and the british connected Gibraltar.

This joint trip for the whole school is included in your ordinary school payment. Which means that you only will need additional money for your own use. 

On these kind of excursions the arrangements and activities will be across the main classes, and we think this is an impåortant part for our work with the social relationship between the studends and staff at the school.

Travel in the local area

We plan for some short trips and excursions, where we hope to experience much togeher. We think it is important for the social enviroment at the school!

We will travel around in the local aera, visit historical Stiklestad or other known places in the region, or travel to the city Trondheim 1,5 hour away, with among other things a wide music- and cultural life.

We can also travel to one of the best ski sports destinations in the aera, Åre in Sweden, or spend time in the nature area surronding the school for outdoor living. Further more it is many activities and places which classes, elective subjects or the school can visit or attend during the year.
