Capture sin klassetur er en rundreise der vi besøker til magiske Japan og Sør-Korea.

Japan er den perfekte kombinasjonen av nytt og gammelt, noe den uendelige listen av påfunn japanerne er kjent for understreker. Vi kan ramse opp Nintendo, samuraier, animetegneserier, karate, sumobryting, Pokémon, geishaer og høyhastighetstoget shinkansen. Utover disse inspirerende og ville oppfinnelsene og fenomenene byr Japan på moderne byer omringet av et unikt og vakkert landskap. Midt i Tokyo kan du finne alt fra skyskrapere til micro-hoteller, i gangavstand til guddommelige japanske parker og hellige sjøer.

Sør-Koreas hovedstad, Seoul, er en av verdens største byer og kan by på en kontrastfylt blanding av hypermoderne arkitektur og tradisjonelle templer. Her finner du i tillegg en endeløs liste av ulike sub-kulturer, K-pop pumpende nattklubber og arkadehaller fulle av sørkoreanernes favoritthobby: dataspill!

Bli med på 14 dagers tur til vakre Italia

Som en av få folkehøgskoler tilbyr Nordhordland fhs både linjetur til fjerne himmelstrøk, og en skoletur for alle elevene til vakre og spennende Italia.

Italia er landet som har alt - nydelige strender, god mat og spennende kultur og interessante severdigheter. Du finner også alt fra alpetopper til bølgende åser i Toscana, fra kanaler i Venezia og fine sandstrender langs den vakre Adriaterhavskysten. Ikke rart mange har forelsket seg i Italia!

Vi reiser til Italia i oktober. Det er en fantastisk tid å reise til på. Det er fortsatt god sommervarme, og vi skal nyte godt av sommer og sol på turen.

Turen vår er en herlig blanding av historie, kultur og religion. Og vi skal selvsagt også få til solfylte dager på badestranden.

Nordhordland Folk High School is a boarding school located just 20 minutes north of Bergen, surrounded by stunning fjords, mountains, and the raw beauty of Western Norway. With around 200 students every year, we are proud to be the largest folk high school in Norway – and one of the most vibrant!

At our school, there are no exams, no grades, and no stress – only learning through experience, exploration, and community. A folk high school year is a year for discovering who you are, building lifelong friendships, and trying things you’ve never done before.

We offer a wide range of courses (lines) – from travel, sports, music, and dance, to photography, outdoor life, and creative arts. In addition, you can choose from over 120 elective subjects, more than any other folk high school in Norway. That means you can shape your year exactly the way you want it!

Students at Nordhordland get to experience two unforgettable trips abroad – one with the whole school and one with their chosen course. Together, we explore exciting destinations across the world, creating memories that last a lifetime.

Life on campus is just as important as the learning. You’ll live in comfortable dorms, share everyday moments with friends, and enjoy delicious food prepared by our kitchen four times a day. After classes, you can relax in our cozy café, join evening activities, or use our amazing facilities – including a swimming pool, gym, sports hall, climbing wall, football field, and even a frisbee golf course.

Nordhordland is a Christian folk high school, but you don’t need to be Christian to join us. Everyone is welcome – no matter your background, beliefs, or life story. What matters most is curiosity, openness, and a willingness to take part in the community.
