There is no closing date for folk high school applications. Students are continuously admitted either until the courses are filled up, or the school year starts.

Many courses fill up quickly. The earlier you apply, the better your chances are at getting accepted to the school. This especially applies to courses in Norwegian language and culture.

All classes are held in Norwegian, but English speakers are welcome to apply.

You are most welcome to send your application to Sagavoll right away. However, you need to be aware of that citizens from outside the EU/EEC area also have to apply the Norwegian Immigration Authorities (UDI) for a residence permit in order to study in Norway. You also have to organize payment for the whole year in advance in order to have your residence permit granted (approx. NOK 100.000,- kroner).
