Flere spennende reisemål, til Maldivene, Sri Lanka, Thailand og Qatar eller FAE (Dubai). Det blir også tur til julemarked i Europa. Det enkle friluftsliv er en viktig del av linja også.

På Reiseliv Aktiv står opplevelser og læring i fokus.

Vi skal lære om kulturforståelse, produktutvikling, destinasjonsutvikling, festivalledelse, bærekraftig reiseliv, og mye annet spennende. Ikke minst vil du få være med på de forskjellige aktivitetene med lærere/instruktører som kan sine ting. 

Du vil oppleve mange sider ved reiselivet, der både naturbaserte og kulturbaserte opplevelser står på programmet. Vi legger vekt på at du skal lære noe som du kan ha glede av videre i livet.

Vi drar på studietur til Asia, hvis situasjonen tillater det. Maldivene, Thailand og Sri Lanka er de landene vi planlegger for. Fantastisk interessante land! Vi planlegger også en tur til Island, et spennende reisemål i vest.

Setesdal byr på et mangfold innenfor reiselivsaktiviteter. Vårt område strekker seg i hovedsak fra Kristiansand i sør, til Hovden øverst i dalen.

Aktuelle aktiviteter kan være:

Vinterstid kan du bruke alpinanlegget som ligger fire kilometer fra skolen. Området har også ypperlige langrennsløyper.

Thailand,  Sri Lanka (Perlen i Det indiskebhav) og Maldivene. En tur med et stort spekter av innhold, der vi ser på mange forhold, som sosiale, bærekraftig og ødeleggende turisme, teplantasjer og elefantsafari på Sri Lanka, utvikling av reiselivsprodukter og destinasjoner, flotte sandstrender, og masse opplevelser. Veldig mange av de områdene vi har brukt tid på i løpet av skoleåret vil dukke opp igjen her. Turen planlegges i vårsemesteret.

Our Folkehøgskule is surrounded by magnificent nature that offers endless possibilities for outdoor enthusiasts, from hiking to skiing and fishing to kayaking.

At the school we have our own sports hall and there is a gym, spinning room, soccerfield, basketball/volleyball/badminton/floorball field, swimming hall with sauna as well as a track field and a tenniscourt in the vicinity.

Through a year at our climbing course you will be left with learning and experiences that you probably will remember for the rest of your life. The Norwegian nature will captivate you through its challenges and experiences.

NLCN will let you meet some of the special local culture of Setesdal, and you will meet different cultures and ways of living in more areas. We also plan for a trip to the exotic Svalbard/Spitsbergen and Lofoten, and probably a trip with Hurtigruten.

Tourism plans to go to Asia and Iceland, but also to develope local tourism and destinations, festivals, etc.
