The admissions process for next school year in the Folk high schools is already well under way.
Good news for all our international students! From August 1st you can come to Norway. Read the press release from the Norwegian government here (in Norwegian)
Some international students may need to show a negative covid test or a valid vaccine and some may also have to quarantine depending on where they arrive to Norway from.
Some students may have to apply for a study permit (If you haven't done this already you should do it soon.)

From 19 June, foreign nationals living in a country or area within the EEA/Schengen Area that is not subject to quarantine requirements may enter Norway.
Mandatory testing, entry registration, quarantine and, if applicable, quarantine hotel stays remain in effect for those entering the country, but there are also exceptions in place for certain groups.
The government will allow foreign students who have been admitted to study at a Norwegian educational institution to enter Norway from 1 August. Students will still be subject to the applicable rules relating to testing, entry registration, quarantine and, if applicable, quarantine hotel stays.

Yes, you can. You can apply until the schools start in August 2021 or until the schools are full.
There may be some adjustments to some of the courses. Feel free to contact the individual folk high school to hear if there are any changes on your course.
