There is no closing date for folk high school applications. Students are continuously admitted either until the courses are filled up, or the school year starts.

Many courses fill up quickly. The earlier you apply, the better your chances are at getting accepted to the school. This especially applies to courses in Norwegian language and culture.

When you select your main subject below, please note that there are two options for international students at Rønningen. Option 1: Have Norwegian Language and Culture as your main subject during the whole year. Option 2: Choose a subject based on your field of interest (music, art, sports) and have this as your main subject, and choose Norwegian for foreigners as an additional subject.
